Having worked in the outdoors for over 10 years with outdoor education, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and other outdoor schemes we have an extensive knowledge and experience in supporting people to achieve their potential in the hills, dales and mountains of the united kingdom.
About our team
Mick Fenwick is an Deputy Headteacher working in the North Yorkshire. He is a keen walker, fell runner and climber spending most of his free time outdoors with family and friends in the Dales, Moors, Lake District or Scotland.
Mick is a qualified Mountain Leader, Duke of Edinburgh award manager and first aid trainer. He has completed some of the UK’s best long distance walks including the Hadrian’s Wall Walk and Coast to Coast in incredibly quick times and has successfully led and overseen more than 100 expeditions.
Michael Stones, from County Durham, has been a teacher of Geography for over ten years and outdoor education leader for over 6. As well as living and working (teaching and running outdoor education camps) in Australia for over three years he has travelled extensively through Europe, Asia, South America and Australia and New Zealand.
Stones is a qualified mountain bike instructor, Basic Expedition Leader, trainee Mountain Leader, Duke of Edinburgh award supervisor and first aid trainer. Along with mountain biking and travel he is a keen road rider, hill and mountain walker, climber and speculative adventurer.
Nina supports students as an academic mentor in schools and is a qualified basic expedition leader who has led and supported numerous expeditions for the Duke of Edinburgh’s award in the North of England. She is an outdoor enthusiast enjoying running and mountain biking.
